The college team of Vijay Kashyap (B.C.A. III), Neeraj Gupta (B.C.A. III) representing GC-11, Chandigarh, won the 1st Prize in the Phoenix-2007 annual I.T fest held at SDCC-32, Chandigarh on Nov. 23, 2007.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT:

The college team of Ankur Garg (B.C.A. III), Sameer Samkaria (B.C.A. III) representing GC-11, Chandigarh, won the 2nd Prize in the Phoenix-2007 annual I.T fest held at SDCC-32, Chandigarh on Nov. 23, 2007.

I.T. QUIZ:

The college team of Anupam Verma (B.Sc.III, Non-Med), Bharat Banga (B.Com III) and Vikrant Awasthi (B.Sc.I, Bio-Tech, Honours) representing Panjab Univesity, Chandigarh, won the 1st Prize in the All India Inter-university Youth Fesitval held at Madras university, Chennai, from Jan. 21-25, 2007.

The college team of Neeraj Gupta (B.C.A. II), Mandeep Singh Mankoo (B.C.A. II) representing GC-11, Chandigarh, won the 2nd Prize in the annual I.T fest-2007, held at GC-11, Chandigarh in Feb. 26, 2007.

The college team of Mohammad Khalid (B.S.C. III, Computer Science), Amit (B.S.C. III, Computer Science) representing GC-11, Chandigarh, won the 2nd Prize in the Phoenix-2007 annual I.T fest held at SDCC-32, Chandigarh on Nov. 23, 2007.

Kundan Singh, Cadet of NCC Army wing, has been adjudged the Second Best Cadet in All India Republic Day Camp held in New Delhi in Jan. 2007.

GHAZAL:

Naval Mehta (B.A-II) bagged the 1st Prize in Light Indian Vocal Music (Ghazal) category in the same competition. P.U., Chandigarh qualified in five events in this All India Festival and the only two 1st prizes bagged by P.U.are from this college. Prof. Mrs. Sadhna Chaudhary of Music Deptt. accompanied the team as lady manager and Prof. K.P.S.Shante of Geography Deptt. as quiz cum literary events incharge and P.U. contingent incharge. The P.U. team also secured the prestigious overall literary trophy.
