Common prospectus for all four Degree Govt Colleges of Chandigarh was printed and released on 06-06-2006

JULY 2006:

I The Process of admissions to all programs was carried out from 3.7.2006-13.7.2006 .

II Effective class room teaching for TDC-I classes & other classes whose results had been declared commenced from 11.7.2006.

AUGUST 2006:

I Hiroshima & Nagasaki Commemoration days were observed on 6.8.2006 and 9.8.2006 . Faculty member spoke on the horror of

nuclear holocaust and deliberated on nuclear disarmament .

II A blood donation camp was organized on 8.8.2006

III Tree Plantation was carried out in a big way on 10.08.2006

IV Independence day was celebrated on 15.08.2006 by Hoisting A National Flag and a News letter was also released.

V National sports day was celebrated in the college.

September 2006:

I Women cell of the college organized a Declamation contest on Women related topics to Sensitize the student 2.09.2006

II Teachers Day was celebrated in the college and a News letter on this occasion was released.

III Students council elections were held on 8.9.2006

I Gandhi Jayanti was observed on 2.10.2006.

II The college hosted a Zonal Youth Festival from 16.10.2006 to 19.10.2006
